NO teens, NO future!<\/strong> Neuk\u00f6llner Oper is a place where people of different backgrounds and generations come together. Life in Berlin and beyond is our material, and many young people are its protagonists. However, they need to be found \u2013 in other words, discovered, engaged, supported, and empowered to make music theatre in a wide variety of formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, Neuk\u00f6llner Oper can look back on more than 40 years of expertise in identifying and nurturing talent. Over the decades, it has developed a wide-ranging program in which new approaches are continually tested in order to reach and support new audiences and participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NO Jung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Founded in the summer of 2012, the Neuk\u00f6llner Oper\u2019s youth club develops its own music theatre productions. The themes, music, and staging are largely shaped and determined by the young participants themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NO Kids!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Neuk\u00f6llner Oper\u2019s children\u2019s club invites children aged 10 to 15 to create music theatre themselves. No prior experience is required \u2013 just an interest in theatre and music!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berliner Opernpreis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NO award!<\/strong> Since 1997, the Neuk\u00f6llner Oper and GASAG have jointly awarded the Berlin Opera Prize, thereby supporting emerging international composers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musical with UDK Berlin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NO musical!<\/strong> Developed and presented in collaboration with the Musical\/Show degree program at the Berlin University of the Arts, the Neuk\u00f6llner Oper regularly produces original musicals. In doing so, it not only continuously expands the German musical repertoire but also specifically supports emerging performers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
