Instead of the planned concert, the five band members see nothing but desert ahead of them. And as if that were not enough of a challenge, the wasteland turns into a musical landscape full of surreal encounters with those who have preceded them. Women composers in their struggle for equal treatment, performance and work opportunities, and recognition. This encounter, as disturbing as it is inspiring, brings to light repressed truths as well as suppressed feelings and almost buried hopes.
