How does the independent scene respond to rapid societal and global changes \u2013 and what forms does it find to do so? With Poland as the guest country, the focus is on a nation whose theatre has provided decisive impulses for the international avant-garde up to the present day. This time, NO serves as the festival center and presents several productions and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>20 November<\/strong>, the festival celebrates its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neukoellneroper.de\/en\/performance\/ep-fuer-einen-gehoerlosen-dichter-und-kontrabass\/\">opening<\/a> at NO with the concert <em>Ep for a Deaf Poet and Double Bass<\/em>. Afterwards, Ludmilla Mercier and Jakob B\u00f6ttcher will present the world premiere of their piece <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neukoellneroper.de\/en\/performance\/lavomatik\/\">LAVOMATIK<\/a>. The two productions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neukoellneroper.de\/en\/performance\/inner-monologue-misspiece\/\">INNER MONOLOGUE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neukoellneroper.de\/en\/performance\/inner-monologue-misspiece\/\">MISSPIECE<\/a> highlight performance in a double evening on <strong>21 November.<\/strong> In the panel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neukoellneroper.de\/en\/performance\/junges-musiktheater-aus-polen\/\">YOUNG MUSIC THEATRE FROM POLAND<\/a> featuring several theatre makers, current trends and their relationship to Polish theatre tradition will be discussed on <strong>22<\/strong> <strong>November<\/strong>.
