Accessibility on site

The Neuköllner Oper is housed in a listed building. We are constantly working to supplement and improve the accessibility of our building for people with disabilities and are always happy to receive your questions and suggestions! Feel free to get in touch via e-mail.

EVENT SPACES “SAAL” AND “STUDIO”

The two venues of the Neuköllner Oper “Saal” and “Studio” are located on the third floor of the building. Visitors in wheelchairs attending performances in the auditorium should first go to the box office. A member of Neuköllner Oper staff will meet you there and take you to your seat in the auditorium via the stage lift. After the performance, you will be collected again and escorted outside. Unfortunately, the studio is not accessible in wheelchairs.

LOCATION OF WHEELCHAIR SPACES IN “SAAL” AND “STUDIO
With every production the seating plan changes and with it the location of the wheelchair seats, because: every one of our productions gets its own stage set. Our box office will be happy to give you detailed information for your respective visit, telephone 030/68 89 07 77 (available Tuesdays to Fridays and on showdays from 15.00 – 19.00). There is a maximum of 2 wheelchair places for hall performances and 1 wheelchair place in the studio. The studio is unfortun not accessible for electric wheelchairs.
