BEETHOVEN BACKSTAGE

10 digital backstage visits

Why does the sheng virtuoso Wu Wei need a kettle to play his mouth organ? How did Cymin Samawatie compose DER MANN DER SICH BEETHOVEN NANNTE? And what does the much-played author Moritz Rinke say about the Beethoven Year and Lockdown?

DER MANN DER SICH BEETHOVEN NANNTE, our production for the Beethoven anniversary cannot be premiered this year due to the pandemic. Therefore we invite you to get to know the artists of the team personally and musically: On 10 evenings in December you can meet different members of the production team as well as the performers and musicians live via Zoom: With samples from the play and the repertoire of the respective artists as well as subsequent discussions with the artists.

Änne-Marthe Kühn (Dramaturg NKO)
